The Moroccan international, Alaa Bellaarouch, goalkeeper for the French team Strasbourg, played as a key player against Paris Saint-Germain on Friday, in the 20th round of “Ligue 1.”
The same sources emphasized that Bellaarouch is set to become the main goalkeeper for Strasbourg as the Belgian goalkeeper, Matz, is approaching his departure.
Bellaarouch is a prominent figure in the Moroccan Olympic team and is expected to guard the net for the Olympians in the upcoming Paris Summer Olympics.
He notably contributed to Morocco’s victory in the Africa Cup of Nations for under 23 years last year.
It is worth noting that Boularouz’s contract with Strasbourg expires in the summer of 2025, having extended it for an additional two seasons last year.
