Al-Ramtha SC linked with Tunisia defender Nassim Hnid
Nassim Hnid, the Tunisia centre-back currently without a club, has been linked with a move to Jordanian Pro League side Al-Ramtha SC.
The 29-year-old became unattached on 1 July 2026 after leaving Tunisian club ES Sahel, whom he joined from Bahrain’s Al-Muharraq in August 2024. No transfer fee or contract terms have been reported in connection with the possible move to Jordan.
Hnid began his senior career with CS Sfaxien after progressing from ES Zarzis’ under-19 side and has since played in Tunisia, Greece, Qatar, Morocco, Bahrain and Lithuania. His career record includes 91 Ligue 1 appearances, with one goal and one assist, as well as 22 appearances in Lithuania’s top flight.
The right-footed defender won the Tunisian Cup with CS Sfaxien in 2019 and the Lithuanian Super Cup with FK Zalgiris Vilnius in 2023. He also spent the 2021-22 season on loan at Al-Sailiya in Qatar from AEK Athens, winning the Qatari Stars Cup during that campaign.
Hnid’s recorded market value is €300,000, although his unattached status means Al-Ramtha could pursue an agreement without negotiating a transfer fee with a current club. The reported interest remains at rumour stage, with Hnid still without a club as of 15 August 2026.
