Al-Nassr race to make Kingsley Coman fit for Neom fixture

Al-Nassr’s medical team is working against the clock to make Kingsley Coman available for Tuesday’s Saudi League match against Neom.

The France international is continuing his rehabilitation programme after suffering a hamstring injury during Al-Nassr’s 3-1 victory over Uzbekistan’s Neftchi in the AFC Champions League Elite.

That win came in the second round of the league phase of the competition.

Al-Nassr’s match against Neom will be their next fixture after their meeting with Al-Ahli was postponed. The two sides had been due to play on Thursday evening in the ninth round of the Saudi League.

The Saudi League announced the postponement of three matches from that round, including the Al-Ahli versus Al-Nassr fixture.

Al-Nassr currently sit third in the Saudi League table with 19 points. Al-Ahli are sixth on 15 points, while Al-Ittihad occupy fourth place with 17 points.

Al-Hilal lead the standings with 21 points.
