Saudi Pro League giants, Al Nassr, are reportedly at the forefront of the race to sign Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri.

The 27-year-old striker has become a primary target for Al Nassr as they seek to bolster their attack, especially in light of Anderson Talisca’s potential departure.

Al Nassr has already demonstrated strong intent to secure En-Nesyri’s services, making multiple offers to Fenerbahçe, where the forward currently plays. After a €35 million bid was turned down, the Saudi club reportedly increased their offer to €38 million.

According to reports from A Spor, Al Nassr is now preparing to send representatives to Istanbul in an effort to finalize the deal.

Fenerbahçe, however, remains firm in their valuation of En-Nesyri. Having acquired the striker from Sevilla for €19.5 million, the Turkish club stands to make a significant profit but is holding out for a transfer fee of €40 million.

Further complicating matters is the stance of Fenerbahçe manager José Mourinho, who views En-Nesyri as a vital part of his team. The Moroccan forward has been in strong form this season, contributing six goals and three assists in 16 league appearances.

En-Nesyri, known for his clinical finishing and physical presence, is under contract with Fenerbahçe until 2029 and carries a market value of €22 million according to Transfermarkt.

As negotiations heat up, it remains to be seen whether Al Nassr can meet Fenerbahçe’s demands and secure En-Nesyri, potentially reshaping their attack ahead of the second half of the season.
