Al-Ittihad Alexandria has officially announced the signing of Guinean striker Namory Traoré. The deal, spanning five years, was confirmed by the club’s president, Mohamed Moseilihi.
Moseilihi, in a statement on Tuesday, highlighted the club’s commitment to meeting the demands of Tarek El-Ashry, the team’s head coach.
The decision to bring in Traoré was influenced by El-Ashry’s praise for the player’s technical and skillful abilities.
Moseilihi expressed confidence that Traoré’s addition would significantly enhance the team’s prowess in the upcoming phase.
The Guinean forward, born in 2005, is anticipated to be a robust asset for Al-Ittihad Alexandria, contributing to their ongoing success in both the Egyptian Premier League and the Egyptian Professional Football League Cup.
President Moseilihi reiterated the management’s dedication to fulfilling the coach’s requests, particularly in positions where new talents are urgently needed.
Al-Ittihad Alexandria currently sits at the third position in the Egyptian Premier League, accumulating 18 points, and leads their group in the Egyptian Professional Football League Cup with six points from consecutive victories against Modern Future and Baladiya Al-Mahalla.
The strategic signing of Traoré is expected to fortify the team’s competitiveness and sustain their positive performance in recent competitions.
