Al-Ismaily reclaimed their winning form in the Egyptian Premier League by defeating Farco 2-0 today, Saturday, at the Borg El Arab Stadium in the 21st round of the league.
The goals for Al-Ismaily were scored by Omar El-Saied and Mohamed Desouki from a penalty in the 22nd and 76th minutes, respectively.
The victory marked the end of Al-Ismaily’s winless streak in their last four league matches since their triumph over Smouha on April 3rd.
Al-Ismaily shattered the Farco jinx, securing their first win against the Alexandria-based team in five previous encounters.
Under the guidance of their head coach, Ehab Galal, Al-Ismaily elevated their points tally to 22, placing them in the 13th position on the league table.
Meanwhile, Farco, led by their head coach Ahmed Khattab, remained stagnant with 13 points, occupying the penultimate position on the table. They have two postponed matches against Al-Ahly and Zamalek.
