Al Hilal is set to offer a contract extension to goalkeeper Yassine Bounou after his impressive displays at the 2025 Club World Cup.
The Moroccan shot-stopper was a key figure as Al Hilal advanced to the quarter-finals, where they narrowly lost 2-1 to Brazil’s Fluminense.
Now, the Saudi Pro League club is moving forward with plans to renew Bounou’s deal, which currently runs until June 30, 2026.
The new contract is expected to keep him at the club for two more seasons, extending his stay until 2028.
Bounou joined Al Hilal in the summer of 2023 from Sevilla, where he enjoyed a successful spell, including winning the Europa League.
