Al Hilal set record-equalling landmark after explosive Al Khaleej first half

Al Hilal scored five times before half-time against Al Khaleej to reach a historic landmark in the Roshn Saudi League and draw level with Al Nassr in the competition’s record books.

The result came in the fourth round of the season, with Al Hilal producing an outstanding attacking display during the opening 45 minutes. Their scoring burst gave them a commanding 5-1 lead at the interval and transformed the match into an open contest after a one-sided start.

That statistical milestone adds another collective achievement to Al Hilal’s record in the competition and places them alongside their rivals Al Nassr at the top of this particular list.

The performance against Al Khaleej also highlighted the attacking strength Al Hilal have shown at the beginning of the season. Five-goal first halves remain an uncommon occurrence in the Roshn Saudi League, making the team’s early dominance especially notable.

Rather than simply controlling possession or territory, Al Hilal turned that superiority into a major numerical advantage.
