Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal have stepped up their pursuit of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen by significantly increasing their contract offer.

The Napoli forward, who is widely expected to leave the Italian club this summer, has a €75 million release clause that applies exclusively to clubs outside Serie A.

While Premier League sides Chelsea and Manchester United have shown interest, Al-Hilal remain the only club so far willing to meet the full buyout clause.

Initially, Al-Hilal proposed a €30 million annual salary to Osimhen, but the offer was rejected. However, the Saudi club has not backed down.

According to Corriere dello Sport, they have now tabled a new offer worth €40 million per year.

If accepted, the three-year deal—with an option for a fourth—would see Osimhen earn a staggering €160 million over the duration of the contract.

Al-Hilal are also reportedly nearing a deal with AC Milan left-back Theo Hernandez, who is considering a €20 million-per-year contract from the ambitious Saudi outfit as they continue to make waves in the transfer market.
