Al Ahly will make a decision whether to resume the Egyptian League campaign until after their Champions League clash against Al Hilal.
The Egyptian powerhouse are expected to lock horns with the Sudanese giants on Tuesday in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals.
However, Al Ahly will rush in making a decision on the Premier League as the team gear up for Africa duties.
Al Ahly boycotted their Premier League game against rivals Zamalek on March 11 after request for foreign referees hit a snag.
Zamalek were awarded a 3-0 victory, with Al Ahly further suffering a three points deduction. Since then, Al Ahly have not competed in the top-flight.
With the next Premier League clash set for April 12, Al Ahly will not be in a haste to make a decision whether to resume or not.
Meanwhile, Al Ahly will likely complete the Egyptian Premier League campaign in order to avoid any further penalties from the Egyptian Professional Clubs Association or the Football Association.
