Al Ahly’s management has opted to shake things up for the upcoming Club World Cup, set to kick off in the United States from June 15 to July 13.
The Egyptian giants, slotted in Group A with Inter Miami, Palmeiras of Brazil, and Porto of Portugal, are making strategic moves to ensure they’re match-ready.
A source from the Red Devils club told Kooora on Saturday that the Al Ahly management has decided to choose another hotel for their stay ahead of the World Cup opener against Inter Miami on June 15.
This switch follows a FIFA workshop in the U.S., where an Al Ahly delegation scouted new options. The source explained that the team also found a different stadium for training, sparking the hotel change.
He noted that FIFA leaves venue and lodging choices up to the clubs, while providing each team $38,500 daily to cover accommodation and travel for a 55-member delegation. With these tweaks, Al Ahly is gearing up to tackle the global stage in style.
