Al Ahly have stepped onto the global stage in style as they took part in an official FIFA photo shoot on Monday, kicking off their preparations for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The session, held in Miami where the team is currently based, lasted two hours and included all players in the training camp.
With the opening clash against Inter Miami fast approaching, Al Ahly are now fully integrated into FIFA’s official tournament setup. The club also received a formal invitation from FIFA to attend a high-profile press conference on Tuesday, an event being held earlier than usual to mark the significance of the tournament opener.
Club treasurer Khaled Murtaghi will lead Al Ahly’s delegation at the conference, joined by head coach Jose Riveiro and three players. FIFA President Gianni Infantino is expected to deliver a keynote speech alongside the managers and key players from both teams.
Also present will be team officials from other clubs and global football legends, making it a special start to a highly anticipated global competition.
