Al Ahly are making bold moves ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup, unveiling sharp new uniforms before jetting off to a closed training camp in Miami.
The reigning African champions showcased the new look, described as “modern” and created by a leading international brand, on their official platforms.
Key players including Mohamed El Shenawy, Wissam Abu Ali, Ashraf Ben Chergui, Marwan Attia, Imam Ashour, Yasser Ibrahim, Tahir Mohamed Tahir, and Mustafa Makhlouf were part of the official kit launch, setting the tone for what the club hopes will be a strong campaign.
The first team departs for the U.S. tomorrow evening with a layover in Dubai, and is scheduled to arrive in Miami by 5pm Cairo time on Thursday. A support delegation, including Samir Adly and Hanan Al-Zaini, is already on the ground ensuring all logistics, from training facilities to accommodations, are in order.
Though president Mahmoud Al Khatib won’t travel due to health reasons, the Reds will kick off preparations with a friendly against Mexican side Pachuca on Sunday.
