After securing the Egypt Cup against Zamalek, players of Al-Ahly’s first football team are set to receive substantial financial rewards.
The triumph over Zamalek, with goals from Imam Ashour and Mohamed Magdy Afsha, was achieved in a match held at the First Park Stadium in Riyadh.
According to “Al-Watan Sport,” the Al-Ahly management has decided to double the financial rewards for each player in the team for the match.
These rewards range from 200,000 to 250,000 Egyptian pounds.
Additionally, players are expected to share the award for the best player, claimed by Imam Ashour, valued at $50,000, approximately equivalent to 2.5 million Egyptian pounds.
Each player’s share of this award will amount to 125,000 Egyptian pounds.
With the Egypt Cup victory, each Al-Ahly player’s total bonus will reach approximately 350,000 Egyptian pounds, which they are expected to receive in the coming hours.
Al-Ahly Prepares to Face Al-Ahly Bank
The Al-Ahly team is gearing up to face Al-Ahly Bank next Tuesday at 9:30 PM at the Cairo International Stadium.
This match is part of the 15th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
