Al Ahly implements new monitoring system to boost player performance
The management of Al Ahly SC, led by Sports Director Mohamed Ramadan, has initiated new measures aimed at enhancing the performance of the club’s first football team.
Reports suggest that the Egyptian football giant is adopting advanced monitoring techniques to track players’ off-field behavior, focusing on aspects such as sleep and rest patterns.
According to “MBC Masr,” the new system will involve the use of smartwatches worn by the players, which will connect to a dedicated app managed by the club’s administration.
These devices will track the players’ sleep hours and physical activity, providing precise data to help effectively monitor their physical health and well-being.
In a further move to elevate standards, Ramadan announced a revamped contract system.
Under the new scheme, player salaries will be split into two parts: 50% as a fixed base salary and the other 50% as performance-based incentives.
These incentives will be determined by achievements such as the number of championships won, goals scored, match participation, and adherence to training protocols.
These initiatives are part of Mohamed Ramadan’s broader vision to bring positive changes to Al Ahly and elevate the team’s performance, reflecting the club’s commitment to maintaining competitiveness and success in upcoming tournaments.
The new strategy is seen as a step forward in ensuring that players not only excel on the field but also lead disciplined lifestyles off it, aligning with the club’s high standards.
