Al Ahly explains Mohamed Ben Ramadan’s absence against Al Masry

Al Ahly’s fans were surprised to see Tunisian midfielder Mohamed Ali Ben Ramadan missing from the team’s lineup against Al Masry.

According to football director Walid Salah El-Din, Ben Ramadan was excluded due to minor muscle fatigue. The club’s medical and technical staff decided to rest him after a thorough assessment.

“Ben Ramadan is just experiencing light exhaustion in his hamstring,” Salah El-Din stated, reassuring supporters ahead of future fixtures.

Sources inside Al Ahly confirm Ben Ramadan will be fit to travel with the squad to the UAE for the Egyptian Super Cup. He’s expected to need only two days of rest before undergoing a medical check next Tuesday, with readiness anticipated for the upcoming match against Ceramica Cleopatra in the tournament semifinal.

Besides Ben Ramadan, eight other players were also excluded from the squad, some due to injury and others for technical reasons. Al Ahly’s training sessions have focused on correcting errors and building team spirit after the recent draw against Petrojet.

The club continues to prioritize player health, introducing hepatitis A vaccinations for the squad in partnership with a specialized medical provider. Al Ahly’s ambitions remain high as they aim to reclaim the league’s top spot and compete strongly in continental tournaments.
