Al Ahly’s top brass have completed all necessary arrangements for Tunisian midfielder Mohamed Ali Ben Ramadan to secure a visa for travel to the United States.
The move is part of the final steps in his transfer to the Egyptian giants.
Ben Ramadan, who starred for Hungarian side Ferencvarosi, landed in Cairo recently for a final round of medical checks before his switch to Al Ahly is formally revealed. Though the club had ironed out the deal two weeks ago, the player’s arrival was delayed until the close of Hungary’s football season.
“Ben Ramadan was at the US embassy this morning, based on a prior coordination with the player during the last period,” a source told Kooora.
The Tunisian international is expected to undergo physical assessments at a specialized facility in Cairo before the club announces his arrival.
He had earlier completed medical tests in Hungary to finalize his contract with Ferencvarosi, signaling a smooth transition before joining Al Ahly’s ranks.
The club’s swift handling of logistics hints at their confidence in Ben Ramadan’s role in their upcoming campaigns.
