Al Ahly have locked in on one mission finishing the Egyptian Premier League season as champions.
With just one game left, the Red Devils hold a slim two-point lead over Pyramids and are determined to seal the title against Pharco on Wednesday.
To sharpen the team’s focus, interim head coach Emad El Nahhas has moved the squad into a 48-hour closed camp. The aim is to block out all distractions, transfer talks, contract expiries, and injury concerns, and zone in on the task at hand.
“Al Ahly’s interim technical staff, led by Emad El Nahhas, has decided to enter the team into an early closed camp for 48 hours,” a source told Kooora.
“Nahhas’ decision came with the aim of increasing the players’ concentration levels and separating them completely from the atmosphere of deals, departures and all other matters.
“Al Ahly will hold their final training session this evening, before coach Emad El Nahhas selects the squad to enter the closed camp, which will be missing Mohamed Abdallah, Reda Salim and Ramy Rabia due to injury, and Hamza Alaa to leave due to the expiry of his contract.”
