The management board of Al Ahly Club has disclosed the travel schedule for the first football team’s journey to Saudi Arabia in preparation for the anticipated showdown against Zamalek, scheduled for Friday in the 2023 Egypt Cup final.
The match between Al Ahly and Zamalek is set to take place on Friday, March 8th, at the “Al Ula Park” stadium, the home ground of Al-Nassr, in the Saudi Arabian capital, Riyadh.
Kick-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM Egypt time (Cairo), and 8:00 PM Saudi Arabia time (Mecca).
During today’s meeting, the board of Al Ahly decided to assign Mohamed Al-Damati, a board member, to lead the first football team’s delegation heading to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday morning.
Al-Damati will oversee coordination and follow-up with Captain Khaled Bebo, the football director, regarding all matters concerning the delegation’s travel and stay, ensuring conducive environments for the coaching staff and players.
It is noteworthy that Al Ahly secured their spot in the Egypt Cup final after defeating ENPPI with a convincing 3-0 victory in the semifinals, while Zamalek advanced after overcoming Pyramids in the same stage through a penalty shootout.
