Ajax Tanger add Morocco midfielder Ali Jarmouni after Wafa Wydad exit
Morocco attacking midfielder Ali Jarmouni has joined Ajax Tanger from Wafa Wydad on a free transfer, strengthening the club’s midfield options ahead of the 2026-27 season.
The 22-year-old completed the move on 4 September 2026 after one season with Wafa Wydad. Jarmouni had joined that club from SCCM Reserve in September 2025, also on a free transfer.
Jarmouni has already made one appearance in the Botola Pro Inwi, playing 22 minutes. He is listed primarily as an attacking midfielder and is right-footed.
The player began his senior pathway with SCCM Reserve after progressing from SCCM Youth in July 2024. His switch to Ajax Tanger represents his third club move since leaving the youth set-up.
Born on 13 August 2004, Jarmouni stands at 1.72m and holds Moroccan nationality. His arrival gives Ajax Tanger a midfielder capable of operating in an advanced role, while continuing a career that has so far been spent within Moroccan football.
Jarmouni’s move was completed without a transfer fee, and he is now registered as an Ajax Tanger player.
