Mehdi Mostefa Set to Join Gaziantepspor
Mehdi Mostefa, now a free agent after his contract with AC Ajaccio expired, is close to signing with Turkish club Gaziantepspor. The club and player have reportedly reached an agreement, with final contract details being finalized.
The 30-year-old Algerian international had interest from AS Saint-Etienne, but his impressive performance at the World Cup in Brazil boosted his profile and attracted other clubs, including Italian side Cesena.
Mostefa chose to leave Ajaccio following their relegation from Ligue 1 to Ligue 2 at the end of last season.
