Aïmen Belaïd, the 24-year-old former player of Etoile Sportive du Sahel, has signed with Lokomotiv Plovdiv, a club in the Bulgarian top-tier championship. Belaïd, who was a target for some Scottish clubs, opted for Lokomotiv due to the offered sporting challenge. The player’s agent, Walid Bouchenafa, announced the signing and mentioned that Belaïd aims to make a swift return to the Tunisian national team. After being without a contract since leaving Etoile Sportive du Sahel, Belaïd will join Lokomotiv alongside Chris Gadi, a former Marseille player.
