Ahmed Marchuh begins new chapter with Wafa Driouch after Hilal Nador exit

Morocco attacking midfielder Ahmed Marchuh has joined Wafa Driouch from Hilal Nador on a free transfer.

The 26-year-old, who was born in Nador, has moved clubs after one season with Hilal Nador. Marchuh had joined Hilal from Fath Nador in August 2025, also on a free transfer, before switching to Wafa Driouch at the start of the 2026-27 season.

Marchuh plays in attacking midfield and is right-footed. He is listed at 1.74m and has spent his career moving between clubs in Morocco and Egypt.

His recorded appearances include four matches in the Premier League, in which he played 168 minutes, and one Egypt Cup appearance, adding a further 15 minutes. The available career record gives him five appearances and 183 minutes across those competitions.

Before joining Hilal Nador for the first time in September 2023, Marchuh had spent the previous season with Al-Borouq. He moved there from Olymp. Dcheira in October 2022, having joined Olymp. Dcheira from El Makasa in August 2021.

Marchuh’s move to El Makasa followed his time with CR Al Hoceima, which began in January 2020. His switch to Al-Borouq was recorded without a fee, while his transfers between Hilal Nador and Fath Nador were likewise completed without payment.

The move gives Wafa Driouch a midfielder with experience across several clubs and a playing history that has included both attacking midfield duties and appearances in competitive league and cup football. Marchuh’s previous club, Hilal Nador, had signed him from Fath Nador a year before his latest change of team.

He has now continued a sequence of recent free transfers, with each of his last four moves recorded without a fee. His highest recorded market value is €50,000, reached during his time with El Makasa.

Marchuh’s arrival at Wafa Driouch was completed on 29 August 2026.
