Today’s training session for Étoile du Sahel witnessed the return of Ahmed Khalil to regular participation after recovering from the injury that sidelined him in the team’s recent matches.
Additionally, Ghayth El-Saghir, another star player, rejoined training after his recovery from injury.
Under the guidance of their head coach Mondher Kebaier, Étoile du Sahel aims to compensate for their loss against Ghana’s Dreams FC in the fifth round, seeking to secure passage to the quarter-finals.
Étoile currently occupies the second spot in Group C of the tournament with 9 points, level with Nigeria’s Rivers United.
However, Rivers United holds the lead based on goal difference.
They will face Dreams FC, the group leaders with 12 points, in the same round.
