Former Egyptian national team star Ahmed Hossam “Mido” has expressed his belief that Salem Al-Dawsari, the winger for Al Hilal, possesses the remarkable skills necessary to compete in the biggest European clubs.
Al-Dawsari showcased his talent by scoring a splendid goal in Al Hilal’s 3-0 victory over Al Ahli yesterday, as part of the 26th round of the Saudi Professional League.
Speaking on the “Dawryna Ghair” program, Mido stated, “Al-Dawsari has immense capabilities that qualify him to play in the top-tier clubs in European leagues, whether in France or Spain.”
He added, “Al-Dawsari possesses speed, skill, tactical awareness, and a strong personality, all of which enable him to easily adapt to European football.”
Mido also commented on Al Hilal’s management, saying, “Al Hilal’s management was wise to sign Rubin Nevez and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic simultaneously, creating a balance in the team’s midfield.”
He concluded, “The management did not acquire players just for the sake of buying; rather, these were carefully considered choices that significantly contributed to Al Hilal’s clear superiority.”
Al-Dawsari has amassed 23 goal contributions in 32 matches across various competitions since the beginning of the season, scoring 17 goals and providing 6 assists.
