Ahmed Diab, the head of the Egyptian Clubs Association, has delivered uplifting news to Egyptian football enthusiasts regarding the return of crowds to matches in the near future.
Speaking on ON Time Sports 2 channel, Diab stated: “The upcoming period will witness an increase in the number of spectators in the stands without a doubt.
Since the first day after our election, this has been our primary goal, and nothing will regress in this matter.
Egypt is a strong state with its institutions, and we will continue to have hope for an increase in attendance.”
Diab continued: “For some time now, during the league suspension, we have been working on a request to increase the number of spectators to 20,000 supporters.
Additionally, there will be good news for the Egyptian audience, which we will announce upon completing the necessary approvals.”
This announcement comes amid anticipation and eagerness among football fans who have been eagerly awaiting the return of full stadium atmospheres.
The potential increase in attendance signals a positive step forward for Egyptian football, providing an opportunity for supporters to once again experience the thrill of live matches.
