Ahmed Abdelkader is edging closer to a new adventure in Europe after Al Ahly received an offer from an Italian second division club.
The winger, who has struggled for playing time this season, may finally get the chance to revive his career abroad.
“Abdelkader’s agent offered the Red Devils $600,000 to let the player move to an Italian second division club,” a club source told Kooora.
“Al-Ahly agreed to Ahmed Abdelkader’s departure, but on the condition that the amount be increased to $700,000.”
“Al-Ahly is currently refusing to reveal the name of the Italian team, but Abdelkader is very close to leaving this summer,” he explained.
Abdelkader’s journey has been marked by ups and downs. He returned to Al Ahly after a loan with Qatar SC, but his lack of game time has left him eager for change. With his contract running until the summer of 2026, this could be the move that reshapes his career and gives him a fresh stage to prove himself.
