The first football team of Al-Ahly Club conducted their training session this morning at the Al-Tetch Stadium in preparation for the upcoming clash against Zamalek in the final of the Egypt Cup scheduled for March 8th at the Al-Oul Park Stadium in Saudi Arabia.
Players from Al-Ahly who participated in yesterday’s match against Young Africans from Tanzania engaged in recovery exercises to alleviate muscle fatigue.
Meanwhile, the rest of the players focused on physical conditioning, ball drills, with the coaching staff emphasizing tactical aspects.
Mohamed El-Shennawy, the team captain, continued his rehabilitation program with jogging around the field and completing specific exercises under the supervision of the club’s medical staff.
Following their victory against Young Africans in yesterday’s match held at the Cairo Stadium with a 1-0 scoreline, Al-Ahly temporarily set aside the African Champions League campaign, securing their place in the quarter-finals as leaders of Group D with 12 points.
