Mohsen El Maadi, the agent of Moroccan player Yehia Attia, currently with Sochi in Russia and formerly with Wydad, has dismissed any official offers from Al Ahly or Pyramids FC to acquire the Moroccan player.
Speaking in a televised statement, Attia’s agent stated, “Any player would aspire to be present and play in Egyptian clubs, especially Al Ahly, the club of the century in Africa.
However, there are no official offers, and we hear talk like anyone else.”
He added, “If any offer comes, we are open to it.
There are offers from Arab and European clubs, but there is no official offer from any club in Egypt.”
Elaborating further, he mentioned, “There are some individuals who inquire about the player only, and we do not have any confirmed information about any official offer.”
Continuing, he remarked, “Any player would aspire to play for the big Egyptian clubs. If there is a good offer for Yehia Attia, Sochi might allow him to leave.
They are professionals and responsible individuals.”
Concluding his statement, he said, “If an offer comes for Yehia Attia from Al Ahly or Pyramids FC, it would be difficult to choose between prestigious clubs. They are Egyptian clubs that offer very good football. They are professionals, and there is no differentiation between them.”
