African football transfer news: Tetteh attracts Bundesliga interest as Ganvoula joins Wydad

Abdullahi Bewene says he is delighted to be back with the Nigeria national team after being selected for the friendly against Russia.

The defender impressed in earlier matches against Poland and Portugal ahead of the World Cup and told Footy-Africa he was pleased to return to the Super Eagles.

Benin defender Siradjou Dine Yacoubou has joined the reserve team of Al Wahda FC in the UAE third division for the 2026/27 season.

The move follows a productive campaign with Baniyas, where the centre-back made 23 appearances, scored three goals and supplied two assists for the Under-19 and Under-23 sides in 2025/26. His defensive consistency and attacking contribution have earned him a move into senior football.

Andrews Tetteh is attracting interest from three Bundesliga clubs, with VfB Stuttgart, Werder Bremen and Eintracht Frankfurt reportedly considering moves in January, according to Ekrem Konur.

Panathinaikos are reluctant to sell the 25-year-old for less than 25 million euros. Stuttgart’s interest still needs to be confirmed, particularly after the club spent 25 million euros on a striker last summer. Tetteh has also been linked with Hull City, Roma and Bologna. He is valued at 4 million euros and has a contract running until 2029.

Ganvoula completes Wydad move

Wydad Casablanca have confirmed the signing of Congolese striker Silvere Ganvoula on a one-year contract until 30 June 2027.

The 30-year-old joins the Moroccan club after terminating his agreement with Saudi side Al Fayha. Wydad announced the transfer on Instagram, while Africafoot had previously reported details of the deal. Ganvoula’s estimated market value is 900,000 euros.

Swiss forward of Congolese origin Winsley Boteli is being monitored by Atletico de Madrid, VfB Stuttgart and Lazio Rome, according to 4-4-2.ch.

The 20-year-old has scored 13 goals and provided five assists in 15 matches for FC Sion this season. He was signed permanently by the club for 3.5 million euros this summer and is valued at 15 million euros. FC Sion, who have him under contract until 2030, are not currently willing to sell despite receiving sizeable offers.

Yamoussoukro FC have also signed Niger midfielder Ousman Gidami Youssouf from USGN. He has agreed a contract until 2028 and will continue his career in the Ivorian top flight.

Cameroon forward Blaise Fuh Ndiforchu has left the MTN Elite One for Syria’s top division, joining Homs Al Fidaa on a one-year deal. The 29-year-old scored 17 goals for Aigle Royal de la Menoua last season and finished as the second-highest scorer in the Cameroon championship.

Al Wahda are reportedly interested in 20-year-old Ivorian midfielder Souleymane Coulibaly of Racing Club d’Abidjan, according to UAE Kick. The Ivory Coast Under-20 international is being considered as a prospect for the Emirati club’s first team.

Chemal FC have announced the signing of Mali centre-back Ousmane Keita from AFE, while Ajel de Rufisque confirmed Senegalese striker Bamba Gakou has joined Syrian club Al Karamah SC.

France-Ivorian forward Lacine Megnan-Pave, 16, is reportedly wanted by Atletico de Madrid, Benfica and Paris Saint-Germain. The Montpellier player is contracted until 30 June 2028 and valued at 5 million euros.

Finally, French-Cameroonian defender Marvin Elimbi has extended his Gil Vicente FC contract until 30 June 2029. The 23-year-old is valued at 4 million euros and was previously linked with SC Braga.
