The Moroccan national team is set to be the first to touch down in Ivory Coast as preparations intensify for the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations.
The delegation from Morocco has landed in Abidjan on Sunday, leading the way for the football festivities.
Shortly following Morocco’s arrival, Guinea-Bissau’s national team will also sated foot on Ivorian soil on the same day, marking a simultaneous influx of African football talent.
The African Football Confederation disclosed the arrival schedule for participating teams on its official website, while Ivorian media outlets have published the detailed arrival times for each team.

On Monday, the Tanzanian national team will join the arrivals, engaging in a friendly match against Egypt in Cairo on the same day.
Egypt’s team, a football powerhouse, is scheduled to arrive in Abidjan on Tuesday, adding to the anticipation surrounding the prestigious tournament.
The procession of national teams heading to Ivory Coast will continue throughout the week, culminating on Friday with the arrival of Tunisia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Cape Verde, and Guinea.
This collective arrival will signify the completion of preparations for the tournament, set to take place from January 13 to February 11, 2024.
The competition will kick off with a group stage featuring six groups.
Subsequently, 16 teams, comprising the top two from each group and the four best third-placed teams, will advance to the knockout stages.
The defending champions, Senegal, secured the title in the previous edition held in Cameroon, with Egypt finishing as runners-up.
Egypt remains the most decorated team in the tournament’s history with seven titles, followed by Cameroon with five and Ghana with four.
