Algerian squad enjoys light-hearted moment as Rai star Khaled visits training camp
While preparations for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil remain intense on the pitch, Algeria’s national team is also finding moments to relax and bond. During a recent training camp at the Sidi Moussa facility, the Fennecs welcomed a special guest: Khaled, the legendary Rai singer and cultural icon.
The Rai maestro brought energy and rhythm to the session, electrifying the atmosphere with his music. Even Algeria’s coach, Vahid Halilhodzic, surprised his players by showing off some unexpected dance moves — much to the delight of those present.
Players captured the moment on video, sharing the coach’s lively steps on social media. The Algerian sports website Le Buteur also published footage of this memorable encounter, with Vahid’s dance routine starting around 8 minutes and 45 seconds into the clip.
