Egyptian forward Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet has declared his team ready ahead of their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) semifinal clash against Senegal.
The Pharaohs will face the Taranga Lions on Wednesday, January 14, at Tangier Grand Stadium, with kickoff set for 17:00 GMT.
Egypt aims to reach the final and reclaim the continental crown they last won at the 2010 edition in Angola.
“The Senegalese national team is a strong competitor and also has great players, but we are the Egyptian national team, and we are playing to win the title,” Trezeguet said.
“We are ready to make the Egyptian people happy by achieving victory and qualifying for the final round,” he added.
