Morocco international Brahim Diaz has urged focus as the side gears up for the crucial quarterfinal clash against Cameroon at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The Atlas Lions narrowly defeated Tanzania in the last 16 clash on Sunday, earning them a place in the quarterfinals finals of the continental showpiece.
Diaz, who plies his trade for Real Madrid emerged as the hero for Morocco, netting the decisive goal to secure victory for the Atlas Lions at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium and confirming their place in the last 8 of the tournament, being held in Morocco.
Speaking after the match, the enterprising attacker expressed his delight, while urging his teammates to maintain focus ahead of their next match against Cameroon.

Brahim Diaz continued his impressive form in the tournament, scoring for the fourth consecutive match, after scoring in all group stage matches against Comoros, Mali and Zambia. This raised his tally to four goals, placing him at the top of the tournament’s scoring charts.
