Chairman of Kaizer Chiefs, Dr. Kaizer Motaung has thrown his weight behind the Bafana Bafana of South Africa ahead of their game against Egypt at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The Bafana Bafana will take on the Pharaohs of Egypt in their second group game at the continental showpiece on Friday, December 26, 2025.
Delivering his end of year message, Dr. Kaizer Motaung paid homage to the national side doing duty in North Africa.
“We also send our best wishes to our national men’s team, Bafana Bafana, who are currently in Morocco representing Mzansi at the Africa Cup of Nations,” the Kaizer Chiefs supremo said in his Christmas message.
“We watched the opening game against Angola and now look forward to the clash against Egypt on Family Day, 26 December.
“As Kaizer Chiefs, we know the challenges of playing against teams from those countries after recently playing Kabuscorp of Angola and Zamalek and Al Masry from Egypt, yet we believe in your strength and resilience as South Africans to prevail.”
