The Cameroonian national team has returned to Agadir this afternoon as preparations intensify for their quarter-final encounter against Morocco at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Following their arrival, the Indomitable Lions settled into their hotel in Taghazout, near Agadir, where they will base themselves once again as they resume training ahead of the crucial tie. The squad is scheduled to return to the training pitch on Tuesday at the Abdelaziz Rifki training ground in Anza.
Cameroon’s delegation is understood to have arrived in Agadir at around 1:00 pm, with the familiar surroundings expected to provide a sense of continuity, as both the hotel and training ground were previously used during the group stage of the tournament.
The Indomitable Lions booked their place in the quarter-finals after edging South Africa 2-1 in a hard-fought Round of 16 encounter, setting up a mouth-watering clash with the host nation.
Cameroon will take on Morocco in the quarter-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations on Friday at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, with kick-off scheduled for 8:00 pm.
