The Confederation of African Football (CAF), in partnership with technical supplier PUMA, has unveiled a special commemorative edition of the Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 official match ball for Sunday’s final between hosts Morocco and Senegal.
The showpiece clash will take place at Stade Prince Moulay Abdellah, with kick-off scheduled for 20:00 local time (19:00 GMT), where one team will be crowned the new champions of Africa.
The limited-edition ball, designed specifically for the final, features striking gold accents as a tribute to the two finalist nations, symbolising the prestige of the tournament’s climax.
While the ball maintains the same high-performance specifications used throughout AFCON 2025, the golden highlights distinguish it as a unique piece for this historic encounter.
The design incorporates traditional Moroccan zellij geometric patterns, including central star motifs, floral petal outlines, and circular symmetry, blending heritage with modern aesthetics.
According to CAF and PUMA, the ball pays homage to Morocco’s rich cultural identity while ensuring the technical quality demanded at the highest level of international competition.
Built using PUMA’s advanced Orbita 6 technology, the ball offers precise flight control, enhanced durability, and optimal touch on the pitch. Its construction ensures it meets the rigorous performance standards required for elite football, balancing innovation with a celebration of African culture.
