AFCON 2023: Group D media program unveiled

Attention shifts to Group D’s upcoming encounters, and an elaborate media program has been outlined for the participating teams. Scheduled for Saturday, the teams—Algeria, Burkina Faso, Mauritania, and Angola—will engage with the press in a series of conferences and final training sessions.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has disclosed a meticulous schedule for the media interactions, commencing on Friday.

The press conferences will kick off with Algeria at 11 a.m., followed by Burkina Faso at 11:45 a.m., Mauritania at 12:30 p.m., and Angola at 1:15 p.m.

Simultaneously, the teams will conduct their last training sessions on Friday, providing a glimpse of their preparations for the upcoming matches.

Algeria’s session is set for 3:30 p.m. at the Lycée Classique, Burkina Faso at 4:30 p.m. at the Technical Education Center, Mauritania at 5:30 p.m. at the Annex Stadium, and Angola at 6:30 p.m. at the Technical High School.

The final 15 minutes of each training session will be open to the media.

It’s noteworthy that Algeria is scheduled to face Burkina Faso at 2 p.m., and later in the day, Mauritania will take on Angola at 5 p.m.

With the intensity building up in Group D, this comprehensive media program offers fans and media alike an opportunity to delve into the insights and preparations of the teams before the crucial fixtures unfold.

As the spectacle of AFCON 2023 continues, anticipation and excitement surround the upcoming clashes in this dynamic group.
