Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessie is anticipating a tough clash between his Al-Ahli Jeddah side and Al-Hilal in the AFC Champions League semi-final.
The semi-final clash will be played on Tuesday, April 29.
Speaking in a pre-match interview, Franck Kessie said Al-Ahli are preparing well for what will be a tough clash.
“Tomorrow’s match will be more difficult, as it is the semi-final of the continental championship. We are preparing well, and the coach has given us a lot of advice on how to deal with the match, and we have confidence in ourselves,” Franck Kessie said.
The Ivorian continued, “Last year, I did not have the opportunity to prepare well with the team, but the situation is different this season, and the team has become very harmonious, and this is the reason for our excellence. We have had a great tournament so far, and we are now thinking about getting through tomorrow’s match.”
The semi-final showdown between Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli in the AFC Champions League will kick off at 4:30 pm tomorrow.
