Ademola Lookman fires warning to Lazio ahead of Serie A showdown

Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman has issued a fierce warning to Lazio, urging them to prepare for a tough confrontation this coming weekend.

The match is set to take place at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico, where Atalanta aims to solidify its position at the top of the Serie A standings.

Recently crowned Africa’s Best Player of the Year, Lookman contributed massively to Atalanta’s success, scoring in their thrilling 3-2 triumph over Empoli last Sunday.

This victory marked the club’s 13th win in the league, propelling them back to the top of the table, overtaking rivals Napoli.

Lookman emphasized the importance of the upcoming match against Lazio, stating that securing a win would allow Atalanta to finish the year 2024 as league leaders.

“We are already focused on the next match,” Lookman told DAZN as per Tutto Atalanta.

“Lazio is a strong team and it will be a difficult challenge, but we know we can do even better. We will prepare in the best way, as always, to try to win this one too.
