Adel Amrouche clarifies accusations against the Morrocan football union

Adel Amrouche, the Algerian sports figure and coach of the Tanzanian national football team, offered concise remarks on his recent statements accusing the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) of influencing CAF (Confederation of African Football).

He stated that his comments regarding the strength of the FRMF relate to organizational matters and are not intended as derogatory, similar to his previous comments about Egypt and Tunisia.

During a press conference preceding the anticipated match tomorrow, Amrouche discussed the Moroccan national team, highlighting positive aspects such as the quality of players, organization, and the tactical philosophy of the coach.

Amrouche asserted, “These are clear matters because a team that defeats Brazil cannot be considered lucky but has won based on its capabilities.

No one can erase the history of the Moroccan national team, and the results speak for themselves.”

Concerning the upcoming match against the Atlas Lions, Amrouche mentioned, “Things are progressing well with utmost seriousness.

There are two injured players who participated in the previous match against Morocco, but everything is available for entering this match with confidence.

Our goals are not the same as the Moroccan national team.

We have the youngest players in the competition, and we have plans and projects for the future.

We will try to present a good image and gain experience.”

He added, “It is challenging to face a strong team like Morocco in two important matches in the World Cup qualifiers and the first round of the AFCON.

Our task is to appear honorably against a great team like the Moroccan national team.”

The Atlas Lions will kick off their competition in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations against the Tanzanian national team in the first round of Group Six tomorrow evening at 6 PM.
