Ade Oguns has completed a loan move from Belgian side KAS Eupen to FC Ferizaj in Kosovo, joining the Superliga e Kosovës club on a temporary deal starting 2026-02-04 and running until 2026-06-30. The transfer is registered as a loan transfer, with the Nigerian left winger remaining under contract with Eupen and scheduled to return to the Belgian club at the end of the spell.
The 24-year-old arrives in Ferizaj with a current market value of €250k, according to the latest assessment, as the Kosovan side secures short-term attacking reinforcements from the Challenger Pro League. The move ensures Oguns will spend the remainder of the 25/26 campaign abroad, competing in Kosovo’s top flight rather than in Belgium, while maintaining his contractual ties to Eupen.
Oguns’s switch to FC Ferizaj is the latest step in a career that has already taken him across several continents. Born in Lagos on 14/04/2001, the right-footed attacker first emerged from Nigerian side 36 Lion FC before earning a move to Caracas FC in Venezuela in 2021. From there, he built his reputation in the Venezuelan top flight, seeing his market value rise from €100k early in 2021 to as high as €350k by early 2024.
His performances with Caracas led to a loan to Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca in the 2023/24 season, where a further spike in his valuation was recorded at €500k in mid-2024. After returning to Caracas, Oguns then moved to Europe with KAS Eupen, initially on loan in early 2025 before the Belgian club secured him on a permanent basis later that year. Throughout this period, his value fluctuated, eventually settling at €250k following his time in Belgium.
At Eupen, Oguns has been listed primarily as an attacking left winger, though he is capable of operating anywhere across the front line. Standing 1.79 m tall and favouring his right foot from the left flank, he offers Ferizaj a wide option who can cut inside or stretch play on the touchline. His nationality remains firmly Nigerian, and this latest move extends a journey that has already seen him represent clubs in Nigeria, Venezuela, Morocco, Belgium and now Kosovo.
The structure of the deal means that, unless Eupen or Ferizaj take further action, Oguns will return to the Belgian side on 2026-06-30 at the end of the loan. With his previous contracts at Caracas and Wydad having involved loan arrangements and returns, the Nigerian winger is familiar with short-term spells and the uncertainty that can follow. Depending on Eupen’s plans beyond his current agreement, there remains a possibility that his medium-term future could open up again after the loan finishes.
For now, the confirmed loan to FC Ferizaj gives Oguns another opportunity to reassert his value in a new league and environment. A productive period in Kosovo’s Superliga could influence his standing back at Eupen, attract interest from other European clubs or set up a more permanent move abroad once his loan expires on 2026-06-30, shaping the next phase of a career that continues to move further from his Lagos roots.
