After concluding the collective training session for Zamalek’s first football team held at the club’s stadium on Saturday, Mohamed Awad and Youssef Obama, the team’s dynamic duo, engaged in additional physical exercises.
These supplementary drills, focusing on running laps around the field, were conducted under the supervision of Alaa Ragab, the fitness planner.
The extra training aimed to enhance the players’ physical conditioning and maintain their peak performance during the current international break.
While the team takes advantage of this hiatus, individualized workouts contribute to sustaining the players’ fitness levels and addressing specific areas of improvement.
Zamalek is gearing up for its participation in the Emirates Club Championship, scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi from January 18 to 24.
The friendly tournament will feature clubs such as the Emirates Club, Al-Ittihad from Saudi Arabia, and Qatar’s Umm Salal.
Following this, Zamalek will compete in the Dubai Challenge Cup from January 26 to 28, alongside prominent teams like Raja Casablanca from Morocco, Al-Ahli from Saudi Arabia, and Wuhan Three Towns from China.
The matches are set to unfold at the Al Maktoum Stadium.
