Achraf Hakimi is determined to help Paris Saint-Germain make history again, this time on the global stage.
The Moroccan right-back has made it clear that winning the Club World Cup is the team’s top priority.
“We made history, we are very happy,” Hakimi said. “We are focused on the Club World Cup. We have one goal: to stay until the end and win the competition, to show that we are European champions.”
PSG head into the tournament with high expectations and Hakimi’s leadership could prove vital. With a busy schedule behind them and more challenges ahead, the squad is counting on its depth and resilience.
“I feel good. This season, we have a lot of matches with many trips. We recover well. Atletico are a good team, and it’s up to us to do everything to get the three points,” he added.
“Things are going very well, the sun is shining. We have time to enjoy the city, which is good for the mind… We prepared well and we are ready for the goal: to reach the final.”
“I am happy to be a European champion!”
