Achraf Hakimi named in most expensive UEFA Champions League quarter-final XI

Paris Saint-Germain defender Achraf Hakimi has been included in the prestigious starting lineup of the most expensive players in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.

Valued at €65 million, the Moroccan international and captain of the Atlas Lions is the only African player to make the cut in this elite selection, which collectively boasts a staggering total value of €1.31 billion.

The squad features some of the brightest talents in European football, with La Liga heavily represented, contributing seven players to the lineup.

Leading the way in terms of value is Vinicius Jr., whose price tag is estimated at €200 million.

Hakimi’s inclusion in this star-studded lineup highlights his significance in both club and international football.

The 24-year-old is currently preparing for PSG’s upcoming Champions League quarter-final clash against Aston Villa.

The first leg is scheduled for April 9 at the Parc des Princes, with the return fixture at Villa Park set for April 15.
