AC Milan are reportedly interested in signing Cameroon and Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana as a potential replacement for Mike Maignan.
Onana, 28, has struggled since his €50.2 million move to Old Trafford in 2023 and Ruben Amorim is reportedly eager to sell him following several high-profile mistakes so far this season.
With Maignan facing an uncertain future, the Italian giants has set sights on signing Onana as a possible replacement.
The 29-year-old French goalkeeper’s current contract at Milan is set to expire in 2026 and the Serie A giants are therefore open cash in on shot stopper provided there is an offer worth €40 million.
The Rossoneri are aware of Onana’s situation at Manchester United and are reportedly eager to pounce amid their pursuit of a new goalkeeper.
With Onana possibly set to leave Manchester United this summer, the Red Devils are expected to sign a new goalkeeper ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
Meanwhile, James Trafford (Burnley), Lucas Chevalier (Lille), Anthony Patterson (Sunderland), Senne Lammens (Royal Antwerp) and Joan Garcia (Espanyol) have all been linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent weeks, with the club ramping up their pursuit of a new shot-stopper.
