Serie A giants AC Milan are plotting a move to sign Italy-born defender of Nigerian descent Caleb Okoli.
Although the 2024/25 football season is not over, the Italian club is already looking at bringing in reinforcements for next season.
The club believes it is important to strengthen all departments of the team, especially in the defense.
After scouting the market, AC Milan have identified Caleb Okoli as a good fit and wants to sign him from English side Leicester City.
Caleb Okoli, 23, has been a regular for Leicester City in the ongoing English Premier League season.
He has so far made 18 appearances and managed to score a goal for the Foxes.
Although Leicester City have been relegated, Caleb Okoli has done well with his performances.
In addition to the Nigerian, AC Milan are also targeting Diego Coppolo and Cristhian Mosquera.
The club is keenly following the trio and will make a move at the end of the season.
Meanwhile, AC Milan also expects to lose some players. Sources have indicated that Fikayo Tomori could leave the club this summer amid interest from English Premier League clubs.
