AC Milan eye Nicolas Jackson and Serhou Guirassy signing next summer
AC Milan are actively exploring options to strengthen their attack ahead of the new season, with plans to bring in a new striker as doubts grow over the future of Niclas Fullkrug.
The 33-year-old, currently on loan from West Ham United, has struggled to make an impact, scoring just once in 16 appearances and largely featuring as a substitute. As a result, Milan are expected to move in a different direction in their search for a reliable goal scorer.
According to reports from Gazzetta dello Sport, the club has identified multiple candidates across Europe. Among the leading names are Nicolas Jackson, currently on loan at Bayern Munich from Chelsea FC, and Serhou Guirassy of Borussia Dortmund.
Milan’s reported interest in Jackson is unlikely to complicate matters with Bayern, as the German club are not expected to pursue a permanent deal for the forward.
The shortlist extends beyond the Bundesliga, with several high-profile options also under consideration.
These include Alexander Sorloth of Atletico Madrid, rising talent Nicolo Tresoldi at Club Brugge, as well as experienced forwards Robert Lewandowski from FC Barcelona and Dusan Vlahovic of Juventus.
With Milan on course to secure qualification for the UEFA Champions League, the prospect of playing at Europe’s top level could prove decisive in attracting one of their preferred targets as they look to reinforce their frontline.
