Adil Rami, who has been sidelined at Valencia since September 19 for publicly criticizing his coach, is now seeking a new club. The French defender, anticipating a loan to AC Milan, is currently in Italy for a medical examination.
A proposed six-month loan with a purchase option starting in January is under consideration. However, there are concerns that the negotiations may not progress. According to Italian media sources cited by footmercato, the former Lille player did not meet the approval of MilanLab doctors during the initial medical examination.
While still in Lombardy, Rami had to undergo additional examinations. However, Adil Rami’s agent, Arnau Baque, denies any physical problems, stating, “There is absolutely no physical problem, I saw him and I can assure you that he is very well physically.” Baque emphasized that the stumbling block in the transaction lies in financial aspects but reassured that he does not see “insurmountable problems.”
