AC Milan Pursue Permanent Transfer for Adil Rami Amid Negotiations
AC Milan are actively working to secure the permanent transfer of French defender Adil Rami, according to his agent Enzo Bronzetti.
The 29-year-old French international, who is of Moroccan descent, has been linked with moves away from the Rossoneri, including a possible return to Valencia. However, recent developments indicate that Milan are keen to keep the defender at the club beyond his current loan spell.
Bronzetti confirmed that discussions are ongoing, stating, “We’re working on it and I have a meeting next week.”
Reports from Italy suggest that AC Milan have deliberately missed Valencia’s initial transfer deadline to negotiate a lower price for Rami. Valencia reportedly valued the former Lille player at €7 million, but Milan are aiming to complete the deal for around €3.8 million.
If successful, the transfer would mark a significant reinforcement in Milan’s defensive line as they look to build a stable squad for the coming seasons.
